Privacy

• Your email address (to sign you in and remember your cases).
• The property records you start a protest on — all sourced from public HCAD data. We don't store anything HCAD hasn't already published.
• Your wizard inputs: exemption answers, condition findings, stance selection, and any notes you type.
• Photos you upload for condition evidence (stored in Vercel Blob with unguessable URLs; deletable any time from the Condition step).
• AI-generated narratives and hearing scripts tied to your cases.
• Per-user AI usage counts for rate limiting.

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't share your data with other users.
• We don't use your data to train AI models.
• We don't file anything on your behalf — you download Form 50-132, sign it, and submit to HCAD yourself.

Your data lives in our Postgres database (Neon) and object storage (Vercel Blob). The Anthropic API processes the prompt context we send it when you generate an AI narrative or hearing script — Anthropic's enterprise API data retention policy applies (requests not used for training).

Email feedback@basispoint.site and we'll delete your account and all associated cases, documents, and photos within seven days.
